Bernice King, the 48 year old daughter of Martin Luther King, Jr, says her decision to leave Bishop Eddie Long’s church which took place this past Sunday was based on spiritual reasons. Bernice served Long with departure papers during the 11am church service on Sunday. Members of New Birth are whispering that Bernice was upset that Long refused to talk about the settlement with church officials or members..King announced her decision officially Tuesday on an Atlanta radio show...
